Job summary

Abode Communities is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our property management team in California. You will perform basic repairs, maintenance, and janitorial tasks across residential properties, prioritizing resident service requests and safety.

The role requires at least three years of general maintenance experience, proficiency in English, and the ability to collaborate with diverse communities. A valid CA driver's license and reliable vehicle are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years general maintenance experience.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform minor property maintenance and repairs as assigned.
• Plaster and patch walls, paint surfaces, and perform basic carpentry.
• Unclog toilets/drains and handle basic plumbing duties.
• Inspect equipment and coordinate with vendors for complex repairs.
• Assist with safety checks and maintain maintenance logs.
