Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) seeks a Maintenance Technician III to lead a shift, mentor technicians, and ensure reliable operation of conveyors, MHE, robotics, and SCADA systems at a major client site.

You will diagnose, repair, and optimize preventive maintenance, manage CMMS work orders, and uphold OEM safety standards. Strong electrical/PLC skills and blueprint reading are required.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• 4+ years with automated conveyors and controls.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• MHE safety standards per OEM and safety standards.
• Knowledge of electrical principles, NEC, or industrial electronics.
• Ability to perform preventative and procedure-based maintenance.
• Experience reading blueprints and schematics.
• Experience with PLC programs.
• 3+ years of work order management.
• Ability to use metrics (OEE/Up Time) for prioritization.
• Physical: lift 50 lbs+, stooping, standing, walking, climbing.

Responsibilities

• Repair, maintain, and improve MHE and robotic systems.
• Lead and audit preventative maintenance procedures.
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot relay logic and ladder diagrams.
• Lead and mentor emergency repairs and training for technicians.
• Create and close work orders in CMMS.
• Build positive relationships with client and maintenance teams.
• Promote a safe working environment by following safety procedures.
