Job summary

Valiant Residential is seeking a Lead Maintenance professional to manage the property’s maintenance needs under the Community Manager. You will conduct repairs in resident apartments, oversee preventive maintenance, and assist in preparing units for rent (make-ready).

The role requires hands-on experience across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and painting. As the leader on-site, you will supervise subcontractors, maintain records, and ensure safety standards while coordinating with

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of full-time apartment maintenance or related trade experience.
• Strong English communication skills; Spanish is a plus.
• EPA refrigerant certification required.
• Own a basic set of hand tools and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident service requests within 24 hours.
• Perform HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting and make-ready tasks.
• Maintain and repair sprinkler systems and pool chemistry levels.
• Supervise subcontractors and train junior maintenance staff.
• Inspect units and common areas, and prepare apartments for occupancy.
