Job summary

Greystar in Houston, TX is seeking a Service Technician to keep apartment communities clean, safe, and functional. You will complete work orders, perform preventive maintenance, and prepare vacant homes for leasing through make-ready tasks and inspections.

You’ll coordinate with vendors, document work, manage inventories, and assist with grounds, cleaning, and painting. Flexible hours, occasional travel, and a strong safety focus are expected. Competitive hourly pay and solid benefits await.

Qualifications

• EPA refrigerant certifications required (Type 1/II or Universal).
• State and Local jurisdictions certifications required.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Completes work orders from resident requests and performs preventive maintenance per policies and safety standards.
• Completes the make-ready process for vacant units, including inspections, punch list and scheduling.
• Follows procedures for obtaining materials and tracks inventory; notifies supervisor on reorders.
• Completes documentation to document and track service requests accurately.
• Maintains grounds and common areas; cleans, paints curbs and signage as needed.
• Supports cost control by repairing instead of replacing parts when possible.
