Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC in Houston, TX is seeking a Service Technician to maintain the physical aspects of the property and ensure cleanliness, safety, and functionality. You will handle work orders, perform preventative maintenance, and support grounds and amenities upkeep on site.

This role emphasizes safety, documentation, and efficient use of materials to control costs while meeting Greystar standards and building codes. Onsite work and flexible hours are possible.

Qualifications

• EPA refrigerant certifications Type 1 and II or Universal are required where applicable.
• State and local jurisdiction certifications as required.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance per safety and code requirements.
• Complete make-ready process for vacant units, schedule vendors, obtain supplies, and inspect work.
• Track inventory, return unused items, and notify supervisor about re-ordering needs.
• Document service requests accurately and timely for tracking.
• Assist in grounds, common areas, and amenity upkeep and perform painting/cleaning tasks as needed.
• Support cost-cutting by repairing rather than replacing when feasible and use tools correctly.
