Job summary

Vivmark Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician II in Hanover, MD, to diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and major appliances, and to perform preventative maintenance across the community. You will ensure all service requests are completed promptly and that vacant apartments are rent-ready, while maintaining safety standards.

The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, with a base pay range of $52,500 to $74,000 annually.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of maintenance experience including HVAC, plumbing, electrical and general maintenance work.
• Valid driver's license.
• On-call schedule in rotation with the team.
• Able to communicate with residents and team members for good customer service.
• Ability to read and understand policies and SDS.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses and repairs problems in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, major appliances, carpentry, and more.
• Completes service requests and repairs in a timely manner.
• Ensures vacant apartment homes are rent-ready promptly.
• Performs apartment preventative maintenance.
• Assists in painting interior and exterior surfaces.
• Maintains a safe, incident- and injury-free work culture.
• Performs hot works including brazing, soldering, and welding.
