Job summary

AbbVie seeks a senior maintenance technician to independently perform high-level technical support within the maintenance department. The role includes training lower-level technicians on advanced tasks and ensuring reliable equipment and quality standards.

Candidate will participate in root-cause analysis, maintenance planning, and cross-functional teamwork, while upholding safety regulations and GMP requirements at the site.

Qualifications

• HS diploma with 10+ years experience or relevant certificate with 5+ years, or an associates technical degree with 3+ years experience.
• CMRT or equivalent accreditation is desired.
• Experience in pharmaceutical packaging or GMP environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to AbbVie’s code of conduct and maintain department assets for reliability and quality.
• Assist in root cause investigations and reliability-centered maintenance; train others.
• Create or edit maintenance job plans and work across multiple skilled trades.
• Demonstrate intermediate computer skills (MS Windows).
• Perform advanced level maintenance tasks and support cross-functional teams.
• Support continuous improvement and safety initiatives; follow safety and GMP regulations.
