Job summary

AbbVie Inc. in New Jersey is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to perform preventive and demand maintenance on a wide range of facility equipment. You will support reliability programs, assist in investigations, and ensure compliance with GMP and safety standards.

Middle-to-senior level role requiring strong hands-on skills with electrical, plumbing, HVAC and process systems, plus experience with CMMS and PLC troubleshooting. Immediate impact on plant reliability and safety.

Qualifications

• HS diploma with 10+ yrs. experience or Relevant Certificate with 5+ yrs. experience or Associates technical degree with 3+ yrs. experience, or proficient in two or more skilled maintenance functions.
• Knowledge and ability to use advanced tools (i.e. machine tools, diagnostic tools, predictive tools)
• Intermediate computer skills (MS Windows)

Responsibilities

• Performs or arranges for preventive and demand maintenance on equipment including electrical, plumbing, and process equipment.
• Supports reliability-centered maintenance programs by predictive maintenance activities.
• Maintains GMP, PSM, and other regulations compliance.
• Provides maintenance expertise for investigations and corrective/preventive actions.
• Responds to emergency maintenance requests on off-shifts.
