Job summary

AbbVie in North Chicago, IL is seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician to perform high-level technical support in the maintenance department and train lower-level technicians on advanced tasks.

You will ensure equipment reliability, support RCA and RCM analyses, and collaborate with cross-functional teams while following safety and GMP regulations.

This role requires a diploma or equivalent, strong electrical experience, and proficiency with Windows; AbbVie offers a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• 10+ yrs. experience or Relevant Certificate with 5+ yrs. experience or Associates technical degree with 3+ yrs. experience, or proficient in two or more skilled maintenance functions.
• Electrical experience with motors, controls, PLCs.
• CMRT or equivalent accreditation desired.
• Knowledge and ability to use advanced tools (i.e. machine tools, diagnostic tools, predictive tools).
• Intermediate computer skills (MS Windows).
