Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) is seeking a Maintenance Technician III to support the maintenance and operation of building systems at a large client facility. You will lead a shift, mentor technicians, and optimize preventive maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and performance of conveyors, sortation, cameras, and SCADA devices.

You will provide expert-level support for MHE systems, repair and improve functionality, and build strong ties with the client and operations teams

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 4+ years of experience with automated conveyors and controls.
• Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with MHE safety standards per OEM and Safety standards.
• Knowledge of NEC and industrial electronics.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Experience with PLC programs.
• 3+ years of work order management.
• Ability to use metrics like OEE/Up Time to prioritize.
• Physical requirement to lift 50 lbs or more.

Responsibilities

• Repair, maintain, and improve functionality of materials handling equipment (MHE) and robotic systems.
• Lead and audit preventative maintenance procedures.
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components, and sensors.
• Lead and mentor work plans for emergency repairs and training.
• Create and close out work orders in CMMS.
• Cultivate positive relationships with client and Operations Maintenance teams.
• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
