Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) seeks a Sr. Maintenance Technician to support critical building systems at a client facility. You will lead shift operations, troubleshoot mechanical/electrical/automated systems, and ensure uptime.

You’ll mentor technicians and collaborate with automation teams in a highly automated environment. The role emphasizes safety and reliability, with focus on preventative maintenance, CMMS, and strong collaboration with client operations.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future.
• High school diploma or GED.
• 4+ years of experience with automated conveyors and controls.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience with MHE safety standards per OEM and safety standards.
• Knowledge of electrical/electronic principles, NEC, or industrial electronics.
• Ability to perform preventative maintenance and procedural maintenance.
• Experience reading blueprints and schematics.
• Experience with PLC programs.
• 3+ years of work order management.
• Ability to use stats equipment to run metrics like OEE/Up Time.

Responsibilities

• Repair, maintain, and improve materials handling equipment (MHE) and robotic systems.
• Lead and audit preventative maintenance procedures.
• Install and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components, sensors, and related hardware.
• Lead and mentor work plans for emergency repairs and training of technicians.
• Create and close out work orders in CMMS.
• Foster strong relationships with client and operations teams.
• Promote a safe working environment by following safety procedures.
