Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) seeks a Maintenance Technician to support the upkeep of building systems within a client facility. You will repair and improve material handling equipment and robotic systems to sustain efficient operations across the site.

The role emphasizes safety procedures, hands-on problem solving, and documentation of preventative maintenance, while collaborating with the Client and Operations teams.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of related experience and/or training.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience using powered or non-powered hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
• Solve electrical and mechanical issues related to all MHE, including belts, motors, photo-eyes, relays, and more.
• Install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment.
• Complete and properly document preventative maintenance routines.
• Track and store department inventory.
• Cultivate positive working relationships with our Client and Operations Maintenance team members.
• Perform other job-related duties as needed or assigned.
