Job summary

Hunt Companies, Inc. is seeking Maintenance Technicians at multiple career levels to support the upkeep of our housing communities in Jacksonville, AR. The role involves regular preventive maintenance and responsive repairs across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.

Candidates should have 1-3 years for Level 1, more for higher levels; EPA 608 certification required for Level 2/3 within 180 days. This on-site position requires outdoor work, strong safety practices, and teamwork.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent) required.
Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions and perform physical work up to 50 pounds regularly and more than 50 pounds occasionally.
Team player with attention to detail and ability to prioritize in a fast-moving environment.
Ability to interact effectively with a wide range of people and strong communication skills.
Basic computer knowledge and daily use of technology platforms.

Responsibilities

Respond to service requests for HVAC, plumbing, appliances, water heaters, and general maintenance.
Perform skilled work in trades such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, or locksmithing.
Document all work per company policy and provide excellent customer service.
Maintain tools and equipment in ready repair.
Follow safety practices and PPE guidelines.
Assist in make-ready of vacated units including painting and flooring work.
Perform emergency maintenance such as sewage backups and water leaks.
Mentor Level 3 technicians and support team troubleshooting.
