Job summary

Hunt Companies, Inc. is hiring Maintenance Technicians at multiple career levels to support housing communities. The role covers general maintenance, make-ready work, and emergency repairs with emphasis on safety and documentation.

Technicians may work outdoors and in tight spaces, with potential for mentoring junior staff. A valid driver's license and ability to lift 50 pounds are required, as is EPA 608 certification within 180 days of hire.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of general maintenance experience.
• Must obtain EPA 608 Certification within 180 days from hire.
• Driver's license valid in-state.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service requests for furnaces, AC, appliances, water heaters, and plumbing.
• Perform skilled work in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or related trades.
• Document all work per company policy and maintain equipment.
• Follow preventive maintenance program including filter changes.
• Assist in make-ready of vacated units (painting, carpentry, flooring, fixtures).
• Handle emergency maintenance such as water leaks, back-ups, fires, weather damage.
