Hunt Companies, Inc. is seeking Maintenance Technicians at multiple career levels to support the maintenance and readiness of our housing communities.

This role covers general maintenance, unit make-ready, and repairs across HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and related trades, often outdoors or in tight spaces. Levels differ by experience: Level 1 requires 1–3 years; Level 2 4–6 years with EPA 608; Level 3 7+ years with a trade certification and OSHA-10.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of general maintenance knowledge and experience.
• 4-6 years of advanced knowledge in one or more trades and EPA 608 Certification within 180 days.
• 7+ years across multiple trades with a trade certification; OSHA-10 within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Responds to service requests including HVAC, plumbing, appliances, water heaters and general maintenance.
• Performs skilled work in one or more trades with basic troubleshooting.
• Documents all work per company policy and maintains equipment.
• Follow PPE usage and safety practices.
• Assist in make-ready of vacated units including painting, flooring, and repairs.
• Performs emergency maintenance such as water leaks and other incidents.
• Mentor Level 3 technicians and assist others as needed.
