Job summary

Hunt Companies, Inc. seeks Maintenance Technicians at multiple career levels to support the upkeep and readiness of our housing communities.

You will perform repairs and preventive maintenance across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry, often outdoors and in tight spaces, ensuring safety and quality in every task. This role offers a pathway from Level 1 to Level 3 with EPA 608 certification required for higher levels, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of general maintenance knowledge and experience.
• 4–6 years of advanced knowledge in one or more trades.
• Must obtain EPA 608 Certification within 180 days from hire.
• 7+ years across multiple trades and trade certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responds to service requests for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance.
• Performs skilled work in one or more trades with basic troubleshooting.
• Maintains tools and equipment in ready repair.
• Follows safety practices and PPE usage.
• Performs make-ready work for vacated units (paint, repairs, flooring).
• Performs emergency maintenance and documents work per policy.
