Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure the inside and exterior buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet company standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality at the Georgia community.

The role includes diagnosing and repairing resident-requested issues, managing make-ready tasks, inventory, and periodic preventative maintenance, with on-call rotations and a schedule of Monday–Friday.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or related experience and training.
• Experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
• Must provide own hand tools; knowledgeable in safe use of hand/power tools.
• Ability to apply logical thinking to problems and communicate effectively.
• Proficient in customer service and interpersonal communication; able to interact with residents.
• Read, write, and communicate to support management; basic computer skills; PM system experience preferred.
• Mathematical skills for financial/administrative documents.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair maintenance issues; perform routine upkeep per policies and safety standards.
• Oversee make-ready process for vacant units; schedule vendors and complete tasks.
• Develop standards for cleanliness and appearance of grounds, interiors, and common areas.
• Inspect work of teammates and contractors; ensure quality and compliance.
• Maintain inventory; order supplies within budget; perform monthly preventive maintenance.
• Support budgeting for repairs and capital projects; participate in safety meetings.
