Job summary

Greystar is seeking a maintenance technician to ensure interior/exterior building upkeep, grounds, and amenities meet high standards. You'll diagnose issues, complete work orders, and oversee make-ready tasks for new move-ins.

The role requires tool proficiency, safety knowledge, and strong resident interaction. Responsibilities include inspecting contractor work, maintaining inventory, and supporting budgeting for repairs and capital projects while prioritizing cost-control and safety

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with related experience.
• Experience in property management maintenance or building maintenance preferred.
• Knowledge of safe tool use and maintenance.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively with residents and team members.
• Proficient in basic math for financial and administrative docs.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair issues in units and common areas per policy and safety standards.
• Process work orders and perform routine maintenance tasks.
• Oversee make-ready process for vacancies, including inspections and scheduling contractors.
• Inspect contractor work for quality and ensure alignment with standards.
• Assist in budget development for repairs and capital projects.
