Job summary

Greystar in Chapel Hill, NC seeks a maintenance technician for Notting Hill community. You will diagnose and repair resident-requested issues, perform make-ready tasks for new move-ins, and uphold safety and quality standards across grounds, exteriors, and interiors.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or related experience, EPA Type I/II or Universal, valid driver’s license, and strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

High school diploma, GED, or related experience and training.
Experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
Own hand tools unless prohibited by state law; safe tool use.
Ability to read, write and communicate effectively for policies.
Proficiency with internet, word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair issues in resident units and common areas.
Oversee and complete the make-ready process for vacant apartments.
Schedule vendors, obtain supplies, and ensure timely completion.
Maintain grounds, exteriors, and common areas to Greystar standards.
Inspect work, monitor safety, and enforce policy compliance.
