Job summary

Greystar is seeking an on-site Maintenance Technician for The Residence at SouthPark in Charlotte, NC. The role covers essential upkeep of buildings, grounds, and amenities to meet Greystar standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality.

Responsibilities include handling resident work orders, completing make-ready tasks, coordinating with contractors, and supporting budget planning for regular repairs and capital projects. A valid driver’s license and EPA certifications may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or related experience.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
• Experience in property management maintenance or building maintenance preferred.
• Must be able to operate and maintain basic hand/power tools safely.

Responsibilities

• Handle work orders from residents and diagnose defects.
• Complete all maintenance tasks and ensure safety compliance.
• Prepare vacant units for leasing and manage punch lists.
• Inspect work by vendors to ensure quality and compliance.
• Assist in budget development for repairs and capital projects.
