Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure the interior and exterior areas, grounds, and amenities meet Greystar standards for cleanliness, appearance, safety, and functionality at Notting Hill, Chapel Hill, NC.

The role involves diagnosing defects, completing work orders, supervising make-ready tasks for vacant units, maintaining inventory, and supporting budget and safety initiatives in a busy community setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or related experience and training.
• Experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices safely.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose defects and perform repairs per safety standards and policies.
• Oversee the make-ready process for vacant units and schedule vendors as needed.
• Develop standards for grounds, exteriors, interiors and common areas to reflect Greystar quality.
• Inspect work of contractors and service providers for quality and compliance.
• Maintain inventory and order supplies within budget guidelines.
• Complete monthly preventive maintenance procedures and assist in budgeting.
