Job summary

ResProp Management is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor in Sarasota, FL to oversee all service operations and coordinate repairs for apartment homes. You will manage work orders, supervise staff, and ensure timely, high-quality maintenance while upholding safety standards.

The role requires extensive maintenance experience, EPA certification, and strong leadership. A valid toolkit and proximity to the property are essential, with on-call rotation and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of general maintenance/general repair experience.
• 3 years of apartment industry experience required.
• Management experience required.
• EPA Universal certification required.
• Trade skills including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, drywall, framing, painting, roofing, cabinetry, pools, appliances, etc.
• Trade Licensing preferred but not required.
• Tech savvy; efficiently use computers and basic software programs.
• Must have own tool kit.
• Must live within 30 minutes of property.
• Must have dependable transportation and be able to accommodate a rotating on-call schedule.
• Must be able to perform physical requirements (lifting up to 50 pounds).

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the service operations to achieve goals.
• Complete work orders including appliance, plumbing, HVAC, electrical repairs.
• Maintain a positive attitude and provide quality customer service to residents.
• Train maintenance teammates and encourage growth.
• Assist in recruiting and interviewing maintenance staff.
• Oversee maintenance shop organization and property appearance.
• Schedule and supervise in-house and vendor work.
• Manage inventory and ensure safety and OSHA standards.
