Job summary

ResProp Management in Venice, FL is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee service operations, repair and maintain appliances, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical systems while delivering exceptional resident service.

You will lead maintenance teammates, coordinate work orders, manage inventory, and uphold OSHA standards to maintain a safe, attractive property and high tenant satisfaction.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of general maintenance/general repair experience, 3 years in apartment industry.
• Management experience required.
• EPA Universal certification required.
• CPO certification highly preferred.
• Trade skills including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, drywall, painting, etc.
• Tech savvy; use computers and basic software.
• Must have own tool kit.
• Must live within 30 minutes of property and have dependable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of service operations to achieve goals.
• Repair and replace appliances, plumbing, HVAC, electrical as needed.
• Maintain positive customer service for residents.
• Train maintenance teammates and review performance.
• Assist Property Manager with recruiting and interviewing.
• Oversee maintenance shop organization and property appearance.
• Schedule and supervise in-house and vendor work.
• Manage inventory and on-time delivery of supplies and equipment.
• Ensure OSHA standards and safety practices are followed.
• Walk apartments at move-out to assess damage and prepare for rent readiness.
