Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to uphold building standards for safety, cleanliness, and reliability at our Santa Clara property. You will perform preventive maintenance, respond to service requests, and support capital projects while ensuring budget compliance and proper documentation.

The role requires hands-on supervision of technicians and porters, familiarity with building management systems, and EPA/CPO-type certifications. On-call duties and driving may be required.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of maintenance supervision on multifamily properties.
• Experience with preventive maintenance programs and various building systems.
• EPA certification required; valid driver’s license; on-call rotation.
• Ability to manage budgets, POs, and expenses within guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders and preventive maintenance per policy and code.
• Execute make-ready tasks for vacant units and inspect completed work.
• Procure materials, track inventory, and notify supervisor of re-orders.
• Document work and maintain logs for service requests.
• Maintain grounds and common areas; support cost-control initiatives.
• Assist in contractor oversight and ensure quality per scope.
