Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep on-site buildings, grounds, and common areas clean, safe, and functional in a 150-unit community in San Jose. The role requires basic maintenance skills, on-call availability, and bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or related experience.
• Experience in property maintenance or related trade.
• Own hand tools and ability to use them safely.
• Strong problem solving and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate with residents and team.
• PM system experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist and complete work orders from residents for maintenance and routine upkeep.
• Oversee make-ready process for vacant units, including inspections and scheduling vendors.
• Develop standards for cleanliness and appearance of grounds, exteriors, interiors, signage, and common areas.
• Inspect work by contractors and vendors for quality and safety; ensure materials meet specs.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and assist budget planning for repairs.
• Conduct safety meetings and stay compliant with OSHA and safety laws.
• Provide responsive customer service to residents and address complaints.
