Job summary

Eden Housing is seeking an experienced maintenance technician for the Fairfield area. The role involves plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and appliance repairs across communities with up to 149 units.

You may participate in the Maintenance Onboarding Support program after two years of service. Responsibilities include managing work orders, conducting inspections, and supporting custodial and grounds tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in maintenance or related trades preferred.
• Ability to operate cell phone/tablet for timekeeping and communication.

Responsibilities

• Create and complete work orders in Yardi; notify residents of delays.
• Conduct daily property inspections and document deficiencies with photos.
• Assist in cleaning, grounds maintenance and safety compliance.
• Use mobile tools (cell phone/tablet) to record time and training in meetings.
• Coordinate with Community Manager and maintenance team; participate in safety meetings.
