Job summary

Find Great People | FGP is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance, facilities, and equipment reliability in a manufacturing setting. The role focuses on maximizing uptime, driving preventive maintenance, and coaching a multi-craft team on the shop floor in Greer, SC.

You will oversee CMMS usage, staffing, budgeting, and safety programs while collaborating with production, quality, engineering, and safety colleagues to meet operational goals.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering Technology, Industrial Maintenance, or related field.
• 7+ years of industrial maintenance experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
• Strong background in manufacturing environments such as metalworking, machining, forging, stamping, or similar operations.
• Expertise in mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and power transmission systems.
• Hands-on CMMS implementation and management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead all maintenance department activities, including preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs.
• Drive equipment reliability and reduce downtime through structured maintenance planning and execution.
• Manage and optimize the CMMS, including work orders, PM compliance, equipment history, and performance metrics.
• Supervise, coach, and develop maintenance technicians.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, performance evaluations, and on-call support.
• Support safety culture, accountability, and continuous improvement on the shop floor with SOPs and KPIs.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, environmental regulations, LOTO, Arc Flash, and other safety standards.
• Partner with production, quality, engineering, and safety teams to support objectives.
• Oversee maintenance budgets, spare parts inventory, vendor relationships, and service contracts.
• Support capital projects, equipment installations, plant expansions, and commissioning activities.
