Job summary

Palmetto Gourmet Foods Inc. is seeking a seasoned Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance function in our Saluda, SC facility.

You will drive equipment reliability, reduce downtime, and improve OEE across production and packaging, while guiding a team of technicians and engineers in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate holds a engineering degree and 7+ years of maintenance leadership in food manufacturing, with a proven track record in Lean, Continuous

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related engineering discipline.
• 7+ years of maintenance leadership in food manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automation systems.
• Experience implementing preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Experience leading Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
• CMMS software and reliability management experience.
• Strong project management and team leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance technicians and supervisors, ensuring safety and continuous improvement.
• Develop and execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Improve OEE, downtime and reliability through reliability engineering practices.
• Manage CMMS, work orders, maintenance planning, and asset history.
• Lead Lean and TPM initiatives in collaboration with production leadership.
• Lead capital projects from concept to installation and validation.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, GMP, HACCP, SQF, and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee budget, spare parts, vendor relationships, and strategic maintenance planning.
• Provide engineering leadership for noodle manufacturing equipment.
