Gilder Search Group is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead a sizeable maintenance organization within a complex production environment. The role focuses on developing people, strengthening accountability, and improving preventive maintenance execution to drive equipment reliability.

The position requires leading 35–40 team members across shifts, overseeing budgets, and coordinating with operations and engineering leadership to optimize capital projects and reliability programs.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a large maintenance team in manufacturing.
• Strong troubleshooting and equipment reliability focus.
• Budget, forecasting, and vendor management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead a maintenance organization of 35–40 team members through two maintenance leaders and a team lead.
• Drive execution and accountability within preventive maintenance programs.
• Lead root-cause investigations and implement corrective actions to prevent downtime.
• Oversee maintenance budgets, forecasting, vendor relationships, capital projects, and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Support reliability of production equipment and facility systems across multiple buildings.
• Communicate issues and priorities clearly to plant leadership.
• Partner with operations, engineering, safety, purchasing, and senior maintenance leadership on decisions.
• Coach maintenance leaders and technicians to maintain safety and performance.
