Job summary

Americold is seeking a seasoned Maintenance Manager to oversee daily maintenance in a refrigerated warehouse. You will plan staff schedules, lead preventive programs, and ensure OSHA/safety compliance while coordinating budgets and long-term improvements.

A minimum of 5 years in warehouse maintenance management, RETA completion, and HAZMAT certification are required. Candidates should demonstrate strong leadership, clear communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of warehouse maintenance management experience.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Completion of all eight RETA courses.
• HAZMAT certification.
• Successful completion of the Americold Certified Maintenance Manager program within 6 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily maintenance activities in the refrigerated warehouse, including installation, repair, and upkeep of machines, tools, equipment, and utility systems.
• Plan and assign work schedules for maintenance staff, ensuring productivity and completion of maintenance requirements.
• Develop, implement, and modify preventive maintenance programs by reviewing reports and inspecting equipment.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and all codes related to mechanical, electrical, and safety requirements.
• Coordinate repairs and assess future needs to maintain equipment functionality.
• Collaborate with management on annual budgets and capital expense plans for long-term improvements.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by enforcing safety policies.
• Assist with other essential duties as needed.
