Job summary

Americold Logistics, LLC. is seeking a maintenance mechanic to perform routine maintenance and repairs across our warehouse facilities. You will troubleshoot electrical, refrigeration, boiler and carpentry systems while following OSHA standards to ensure safety and reliability.

Qualifications include 3+ years in maintenance, some electrical experience, and completed HAZMAT responder training. The role requires physical stamina and the ability to work nights or weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years maintenance mechanic experience.
• Some electrical experience is required.
• HAZMAT responder training completed.

Responsibilities

• Performs repair and adjustment of refrigeration systems, doors, dock boards, pallets, and electrical work per OSHA standards.
• Inspects forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment for OSHA and operational compliance.
• Tests and maintains equipment using voltmeters, ohmmeters, pyrometers, and pressure gauges.
• Tests and calibrates HVAC equipment.
• Maintains tools and machinery in good condition.
• Maintains batteries and chargers per OSHA standards.
• Conducts safety equipment tests (exit signs, extinguishers, sprinkler systems).
• Keeps accurate preventive maintenance records.
• Responds to security alarm calls when needed.
• Keeps work area clean and performs housekeeping.
• Performs related work as required.
