Qualifications

• 5+ years in enterprise IBM mainframe environments (z/OS).
• 5+ years capacity planning and performance engineering experience.
• 3+ years analyzing utilization trends and forecasting capacity.
• 3+ years using mainframe monitoring and performance tools to resolve bottlenecks.
• 2+ years Excel advanced reporting and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and optimize enterprise mainframe resource utilization, performance, and capacity.
• Conduct capacity planning, forecasting, trend analysis, and real-time diagnostics.
• Partner with application, infrastructure, database, and systems programming teams to identify high-resource consumers and optimize performance.
• Develop and deliver utilization reports, performance assessments, and capacity recommendations for infrastructure investments.
• Provide technical leadership for performance engineering activities including testing, QA, and incident response.
