Qualifications

• 5+ years in enterprise IBM mainframe environments (z/OS)
• 5+ years capacity planning and performance engineering
• 3+ years forecasting capacity needs and workload optimization
• 3+ years using mainframe monitoring tools to identify bottlenecks
• 2+ years using MS Office with advanced Excel reporting

Responsibilities

• Monitor, analyze, and optimize mainframe resource utilization and capacity across IBM z/OS environments.
• Conduct capacity planning, forecasting, trend analysis, and real-time performance diagnostics.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot performance issues and implement optimization strategies.
• Develop utilization reports, performance assessments, and capacity recommendations for infrastructure investments.
• Provide technical leadership for testing, production support, incident response, and on-call activities.
