Qualifications

• 5+ years supporting enterprise IBM mainframe environments, including z/OS.
• 5+ years in capacity planning, performance engineering, and production troubleshooting.
• 3+ years analyzing utilization trends and driving workload optimization.
• 2+ years utilizing Microsoft Office applications, including advanced Excel reporting and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, analyze, and optimize mainframe resource utilization, performance and capacity across IBM z/OS environments.
• Conduct capacity planning, forecasting, trend analysis, and real-time performance diagnostics.
• Partner with application, infrastructure, database, and systems programming teams to identify high-resource consumers and implement optimizations.
• Provide utilization reports and capacity recommendations for infrastructure investments and upgrades.
• Lead testing, QA reviews, production support, and on-call incident response.
