The Senior Mainframe Capacity & Performance Engineer will serve as a critical technical leader responsible for ensuring the performance, scalability, reliability, and efficiency of our enterprise mainframe environment supporting mission-critical healthcare, pharmacy, and retail applications.

Qualifications

• 5+ years supporting enterprise IBM mainframe environments (z/OS).
• 5+ years in capacity planning, performance engineering, and production troubleshooting.
• 2+ years using Excel for advanced reporting and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and optimize mainframe resource utilization, performance and capacity.
• Conduct capacity planning, forecasting, trend analysis and real-time diagnostics.
• Identify high-resource consumers and implement optimization strategies.
• Deliver utilization reports and capacity recommendations for investments.
• Lead performance engineering activities including testing and incident response.
