Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Senior Mainframe Capacity & Performance Engineer to join our Enterprise Infrastructure organization. You will lead capacity planning, workload analysis, and performance optimization across our z/OS environment to support critical healthcare, pharmacy, and retail applications.

Qualifications

5+ years with IBM mainframe environments (z/OS) and IBM Z.
5+ years capacity planning and performance engineering in large-scale systems.
3+ years analyzing utilization trends and forecasting capacity.
2+ years with MS Office including advanced Excel reporting.

Responsibilities

Monitor, analyze, and optimize enterprise mainframe resource utilization and performance.
Conduct capacity planning, forecasting, and trend analysis.
Identify high-resource consumers and implement optimization strategies to reduce MIPS.
Deliver utilization reports and support infrastructure investments.
Provide on-call production support during incidents and critical events.
