Job summary

Rocket Software in the United States is seeking a Senior Enterprise Engagement Manager to own mainframe modernization engagements end to end, from assessment and planning through migration, cutover and handover. You will operate with high autonomy and influence the delivery practice while coaching others.

This senior individual contributor role requires 8+ years in technology project delivery, strong stakeholder skills, and experience with complex environments including hybrid or mainframe

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience delivering technology projects including external customer delivery.
• Ownership of engagements end to end with accountability for scope, schedule, cost and quality.
• Experience delivering software implementation or systems integration in complex environments.
• Experience with Fixed Price and Time & Materials delivery models.
• Strong stakeholder facilitation and customer communication.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• University degree or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and execute mainframe modernization engagements end to end with autonomy.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, quality and risk across concurrent workstreams.
• Lead assessment, migration, integration, testing, cutover and handover activities.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure delivery.
• Maintain detailed schedules, cost forecasts and risk/issue registers.
• Provide status reporting and communicate with customers and executives.
