Job summary

Rocket Software in the United States seeks a Senior Enterprise Engagement Manager to own end-to-end mainframe modernization engagements, from assessment to handover, in environments where outages are unacceptable. You will work with the Director, Technical Project Management within Enterprise Services and influence delivery without direct reports.

The role requires 8+ years delivering technology projects, strong stakeholder skills, and experience with Fixed Price and Time & Materials models.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience delivering technology projects.
• End-to-end ownership of engagements with personal accountability for scope, schedule and cost.
• Experience delivering software or systems integration in production-critical environments.
• Experience with Fixed Price and Time & Materials delivery models.
• Strong stakeholder communication and reporting skills.
• Ability to work independently under limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and execute mainframe modernization engagements with a high degree of autonomy.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, quality and risk across multiple workstreams.
• Coordinate assessment, migration, integration and cutover activities.
• Lead testing, rollback readiness and post-go-live stabilization.
• Provide delivery guidance and governance artifacts across engagements.
