Job summary

Rocket Software is seeking a Senior Enterprise Engagement Manager in the United States to own end-to-end delivery of mainframe modernization engagements. You will supervise assessment, planning, migrations, cutover, stabilization and handover in high-stakes environments with limited supervision.

The role emphasizes managing scope, schedule, cost and risk, coaching junior PMs, and contributing to process improvements across Enterprise Services.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience delivering technology projects to external customers.
• Ownership of engagements end to end with accountability for scope, schedule, cost and quality.
• Experience delivering software implementation or systems integration in complex environments.
• Delivery experience with Fixed Price and Time & Materials models; understanding required.
• Strong stakeholder facilitation, reporting and customer communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and execute mainframe modernization software delivery for assigned customers from initiation through closeout.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, quality and risk across multiple workstreams.
• Produce delivery-ready reporting, logs and customer presentations.
• Lead regular status meetings and escalate risks with data and options for executives.
• Contribute to delivery templates, processes and best practices across Enterprise Services.
