Job summary
Rocket Software is seeking a Senior Enterprise Engagement Manager in the United States to own end-to-end delivery of mainframe modernization engagements, from assessment through migration, cutover and stabilization. This senior individual contributor role reports to the Director, Technical Project Management within Enterprise Services.
You will drive scope, schedule, cost and quality, coach junior PMs, and contribute to templates and best practices across Enterprise Services.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of relevant experience delivering technology projects with external customers.
- Ownership of engagements end to end with accountability for scope, schedule, cost and quality.
- Experience delivering software implementation or systems integration in complex environments.
- Experience with Fixed Price and Time & Materials delivery models.
- Strong stakeholder facilitation, reporting and customer communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Plan, organize and execute mainframe modernization engagements with high autonomy.
- Manage scope, schedule, budget, quality and risk across concurrent workstreams.
- Develop detailed project schedules and cost forecasts; lead change control and risk management.
- Deliver regular status updates, escalate risks, and prepare customer-friendly reports.
