Job summary

Ensono seeks a Senior Mainframe Developer to design, develop, and maintain critical mainframe applications. You will leverage COBOL, CICS, IMS DB/DC, DB2, MQ, and VSAM, with Netron Frame expertise, to support enterprise operations.

The role involves handling incidents and change requests within waterfall and agile frameworks, plus performing performance tuning and documentation for teams. Remote work is available in the United States.

Qualifications

Design, develop, and maintain Mainframe applications using COBOL, CICS, IMS DB/DC, DB2, MQ and VSAM.
Experience in Netron Frame technology.
Experience in enterprise-level ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Service Manager, etc.) and their workflows.
Worked on waterfall and agile projects; capable of handling Incidents, Service Requests and Change Requests.

Responsibilities

Provide technical troubleshooting and resolution for complex application and integration.
Conduct performance tuning and optimization of Mainframe applications and database queries.
Develop technical documentation (Knowledge Base articles, SOPs) for business and support teams.
Understand both functional and technical requirements and provide implementation/change options aligned with business needs.
