Job summary

Ensono seeks a Senior CICS Mainframe Systems Programmer to provide premium support for CICS TS and OEM software on IBM z/OS. The role covers 24/7 global coverage, installation, maintenance, and customer migrations.

You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure timely transitions and reliable disaster recovery planning. The ideal candidate brings 10+ years of hands-on zSeries/mainframe experience, strong CICS TS knowledge, SMP/E proficiency, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience required.
• 10+ years experience on the zSeries mainframe platform with hands-on installation and maintenance of CICS TS and OEM products.
• Strong knowledge of CICS TS, configuration, tailoring, and related OEM products.
• Experience with IBM SMP/E and mainframe performance monitoring tools.
• Excellent communication and ability to work independently or in teams.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill CSOs for mainframe z/OS customers related to CICS TS and OEM software.
• Provide primary support for reported CICS TS problems and related products.
• Provide 24x7x365 support across multiple time zones.
• Follow vendor procedures for installing OEM software efficiently.
• Assist migrations and upgrade readiness for customers and projects.
• Support disaster recovery plans and coordinate with other teams.
• Adhere to ITSM change control processes and schedules.
