Job summary

Ensono is seeking a Senior Mainframe Systems Programmer – CICSRemote to provide premium support for CICS TS and related OEM software. The role requires hands-on z/OS experience, customer-focused service, and the ability to work across time zones in a remote capacity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years on zSeries mainframe with CICS TS and OEM product support.
• Thorough knowledge of CICS TS and OEM product installation/tailoring.
• Strong knowledge of IBM SMP/E.
• Strong analytical and CICS TS concept understanding.
• Experience with tools to monitor CICS TS performance.
• Able to work self-directed and in a team; meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; presentations.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill CSOs for mainframe z/OS customers related to CICS TS.
• Provide primary support for reported CICS TS issues.
• Provide 24x7x365 support across multiple time zones.
• Follow procedures to install OEM software per best practices.
• Collaborate with other towers to prepare partitions for annual OS upgrades.
• Support customer migrations and transitions for CICS TS.
• Assist project manager during migrations and address technical hurdles.
• Cooperate with Disaster Recovery to execute DR plan tasks.
• Adhere to schedule for timely implementations.
• Follow ITSM change control procedures.
