Ensono is seeking a Senior Mainframe Systems Programmer – CICS to provide premium support for CICS TS and related OEM products. The role covers optimization, installation, and maintenance on z/OS, with responsibilities spanning migrations, DR coordination, and cross-functional collaboration.

Remote work is supported across time zones. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in zSeries mainframe environments, strong CICS TS and SMP/E experience, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years experience on zSeries mainframe including hands-on installation and maintenance related to CICS TS and OEM product support.
• Thorough knowledge of CICS TS concepts, configuration and tailoring.
• Strong analytical skills and understanding of CICS TS.
• Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, presentations).
• Ability to work in a team and independently.

Responsabilités

• Fulfill CSOs for mainframe z/OS customers related to CICS TS.
• Provide primary support for reported CICS TS issues and OEM products.
• Provide 24x7x365 support across multiple time zones.
• Follow procedures for installing OEM software products per best practices.
• Prepare customer partitions for annual OS upgrades per checklist.
• Support customer migrations related to CICS TS and OEM products.
• Assist project manager with migrations to meet timelines.
• Collaborate with Disaster Recovery Services for DR plans.
• Adhere to schedules and ITSM change control procedures.
