Job summary

Biltmore Workforce Management is seeking a Mail Services Manager to direct the daily mail services operations, align with USPS regulations, and drive efficiency. You will manage vendors, carriers, permits, and the annual budget while leading a team in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires strong leadership, interpersonal skills, and a track record of managing mail/shipping workflows. On-site work with coordination across internal partners and external service providers is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: 2-year degree in business or hospitality management
• Minimum experience: 2 years in mailing/shipping; 2 years in leadership
• Knowledge of FEDEX, USPS, UPS, BCC Bulk Mail software systems
• Strong leadership, relationship-building, and technical skills
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with professionalism under pressure
• Education preferred: 4-year degree in business or hospitality management
• Experience preferred: 4+ years in mailing/shipping and 4+ years in leadership (4–6 people)

Responsibilities

• Direct operations and workflow for the mail services team
• Coordinate with USPS, FEDEX, UPS, AMAZON, freight companies, and local carriers
• Support and provide opportunities for staff growth and development
• Build relationships with internal partners, vendors, and delivery drivers
• Maintain permits, licenses, leases, and maintenance contracts
• Execute the annual strategic plan and expense budget
• Resolve mail/shipping issues and answer queries
• Manage administrative duties: inventory, invoices, payroll, safety inspections
• Purchase/lease mail room equipment to comply with regulations
• Interview, hire, and train new employees (OJT)
