Job summary

Biltmore is seeking a Mail Services Manager to lead the daily operations of the mail services department. You will ensure USPS compliance, maintain licenses and permits, and drive efficiency to meet financial goals.

You will negotiate equipment leases, manage staff, and coordinate with carriers such as USPS, FEDEX, UPS, and Amazon. This role requires strong leadership and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment aligned with our Vanderbilt-inspired hospitality legacy.

Qualifications

  • 2-year degree in Business or Hospitality management or equivalent
  • 2 years mailing/shipping experience and 2 years leadership (3-4 people)
  • Knowledge of FEDEX, USPS, UPS and bulk mail software systems
  • Strong leadership and relationship skills; able to work in fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Direct operations and workflow for the mail services team
  • Coordinate with USPS, FEDEX, UPS, AMAZON and local carriers
  • Support staff growth and development opportunities
  • Build relationships with internal partners, vendors and drivers
  • Maintain required permits, licenses, leases and maintenance agreements
  • Execute annual strategic plan and expense budget
  • Resolve mail and package delivery issues and answer inquiries
  • Manage admin tasks: inventory, invoices, reports, payroll, safety inspections
  • Purchase or lease mail room equipment per postal regulations
  • Interview, hire and train new employees
