Job summary

EY is seeking an experienced M365 SharePoint Engineer to lead on-premises to SharePoint Online migrations and deliver modern intranets. You will shape information architecture, run migration waves, and work with stakeholders to ensure secure, scalable solutions.

You will bring deep SharePoint Server/Online expertise and Microsoft 365 administration experience, collaborating across EY groups and client teams to drive successful deliverables and targeted outcomes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of consulting delivering SharePoint solutions and/or migrations using Microsoft technologies.
• Hands-on experience with SharePoint Server (2013/2016/2019) and SharePoint Online administration and configuration.
• Experience planning and executing SharePoint migrations (assessment, waves, pilots, remediation, cutover, hypercare).
• Experience with major migration tools (e.g., Migration Manager, ShareGate, AvePoint, Quest).
• Experience implementing modern SharePoint Online intranets (IA, hubs, navigation, search, metadata, permissions).
• Proven ability to lead workshops and communicate to technical and executive audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead SharePoint on-premises to SharePoint Online migrations and build modern intranets.
• Design target information architecture, hub/site strategy, and permissions models.
• Configure migration tooling, manage pilots, remediation, and cutovers.
• Modernize legacy workflows to Power Platform patterns where appropriate.
• Establish governance, provisioning controls, and operational reporting.
• Collaborate with EY teams and client stakeholders to deliver complex engagements.
