Job summary

EY is seeking a seasoned M365 SharePoint Engineer to lead enterprise migrations from SharePoint Server on-premises to SharePoint Online and to design modern, scalable intranets. You will collaborate with EY teams and client stakeholders to deliver secure, compliant, and well-governed digital workplace solutions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of consulting experience delivering SharePoint solutions and/or migrations using Microsoft technologies.
• Hands-on experience with SharePoint Server (2013/2016/2019) and SharePoint Online administration and configuration.
• Proven experience planning and executing SharePoint migrations (assessment, waves, pilots, remediation, cutover, and hypercare).
• Experience with at least one major migration toolset (e.g., Microsoft Migration Manager, ShareGate, AvePoint, Quest, or similar).
• Experience implementing modern SharePoint Online intranets (IA, hubs, navigation, search, metadata, and permissions).
• Working knowledge of the Power Platform (Power Apps and Power Automate), especially for forms/workflow modernization patterns.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills; ability to lead workshops and present recommendations to technical and executive audiences.
• Experience delivering in regulated or security-conscious environments, incorporating identity, governance, and compliance requirements into designs.
• Prior enterprise consulting experience (client-facing delivery).

Responsibilities

• Lead SharePoint on-premises to SharePoint Online migrations and modern intranet implementations.
• Architect and design information architecture, hub/site strategy, navigation, search, and permissions models.
• Configure migrations with Microsoft and third‑party tooling; manage pilots, remediation, and cutovers.
• Map legacy workflows to Power Platform patterns where appropriate.
• Establish governance standards, provisioning lifecycles, and operational reporting.
• Engage with client stakeholders through workshops, deliver client-ready artifacts, and communicate risks clearly.
