Job summary

EY US (Remote) is seeking a senior SharePoint/365 Engineer to lead on-premises to Microsoft 365 migrations and to build modern SharePoint Online intranets. You will shape information architecture, migration waves, and modernization approaches while partnering with client stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure solutions.

You will bring deep experience across SharePoint Server/Online and Microsoft 365 administration, leading full project lifecycles from discovery to deployment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of consulting experience delivering SharePoint solutions and/or migrations using Microsoft technologies.
• Hands-on experience with SharePoint Server (2013/2016/2019) and SharePoint Online administration and configuration.
• Experience planning and executing SharePoint migrations (assessment, waves, pilots, remediation, cutover, and hypercare).
• Experience with at least one major migration toolset (e.g., Migration Manager, ShareGate, AvePoint, Quest).
• Experience implementing modern SharePoint Online intranets (IA, hubs, navigation, search, metadata, and permissions).
• Working knowledge of the Power Platform (Power Apps and Power Automate).

Responsibilities

• Assess & plan migrations: define scope, waves, and cutover plans.
• Design the target intranet information architecture and navigation.
• Execute migrations using Microsoft and third-party tooling.
• Modernize legacy workflows to Power Platform patterns.
• Establish governance, provisioning, and operational reporting.
• Lead workshops and communicate risks and decisions clearly.
