Job summary

EY is seeking an experienced M365 SharePoint Engineer to lead on-premises to SharePoint Online migrations and modern intranet implementations. You will define target information architectures, migration waves, and modernization approaches while partnering with client stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, and supportable solutions.

You will bring deep experience across SharePoint Server/Online and Microsoft 365 administration, including Entra ID, Teams, and OneDrive, and you will guide

Qualifications

• 3+ years of consulting experience delivering SharePoint solutions and/or migrations using Microsoft technologies.
• Hands-on experience with SharePoint Server (2013/2016/2019) and SharePoint Online administration and configuration.
• Experience with at least one major migration toolset (e.g., Migration Manager, ShareGate, AvePoint, Quest, or similar).
• Experience implementing modern SharePoint Online intranets (IA, hubs, navigation, search, metadata, and permissions).
• Working knowledge of the Power Platform (Power Apps and Power Automate) for forms/workflow modernization.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills; able to lead workshops and present to technical and executive audiences.
• Experience delivering in regulated or security-conscious environments with identity, governance, and compliance in designs.

Responsibilities

• Assess & plan migrations: discover, scope, waves, effort, and cutover plans.
• Design the target intranet: IA, hubs, navigation, search, metadata, permissions.
• Execute migrations: configure tooling, pilots, remediation, cutovers.
• Modernize solutions: map legacy workflows to Power Platform patterns.
• Enable operations & governance: standards, lifecycle controls, reporting.
• Lead stakeholder workshops and deliver client-ready outputs.
